Wood engraving

About wood engraving

Our bespoke wood engraving service adds a beautifully personal detail to your kitchen furniture, creating a feature that feels both timeless and unique. Shown here with elegant engraved wording for Larder, Pantry, Freezer and Fridge, these subtle details bring warmth, character, and individuality into the heart of the home.

Perfectly suited to In-Frame Shaker kitchens, the engraved wording sits beautifully within the framed timber design, giving a refined handcrafted look that feels luxurious yet personal.

But engraving does not need to stop at practical kitchen storage names. Many of our clients also choose to add meaningful words, family names, children’s names, or even beloved pet names onto drawer fronts and cabinetry, creating a truly one-of-a-kind kitchen designed around family life.

For a more discreet approach, these personalised engraved drawers can also be hidden internally behind another cabinet door. Open the main cupboard door to reveal beautifully engraved drawers inside — a hidden family feature that is private, personal, and full of charm.

Children especially love having their own named drawer, creating a special place for:

• Favourite treats and sweets
• Pocket money savings
• Small treasures and keepsakes
• Drawings and family memories
• Pebbles, acorns, shells, and special finds

These thoughtful details help transform a kitchen from simply being furniture into a space filled with personality, memories, and family stories.

Every engraved piece is made bespoke for each customer, allowing you to choose almost any wording you would like — from practical storage labels to deeply personal family touches.
